I'm still reeling over the recent passage of measure 26-48 which will take an additional 1.25% from the income of every Multnomah County resident (bringing our total income tax burden to 10.25%, which has got to be the highest in the country). Thanks to the socialists who voted for this bill, our schools and government still have no incentive to clean up their act and become more efficient. The measure was supposed to be "temporary", for three years only, but only time will tell...
