I just signed up to help out with the Community Cycling Center's 2006 Holiday Bike Drive. Every year, they give away hundreds of bikes and helmets to hundreds of low-income children. According to the organizers, they still need plenty of help, so if you're a bicycling enthusiast, interested in volunteering, and free on December 10 (Portland) or December 16 (Vancouver), let me know and I'll forward you the info. I'll be helping out with the Portland event.
