Digg or Slashdot mentioned this some time ago, but I just got around to signing up for it, and it is sweet indeed: Xdrive offers free 5GB of online file storage to anybody with an AOL screen name. (You can sign up for one if you don't have one.) Doesn't appear to be any catch -- if you want more storage, it will cost, but the first 5GB is free.

Speaking of free, for some unknown reason, Starbucks deposited an extra $10 on my Starbucks gift card. I wouldn't have even known about it, except that they sent me a postcard telling me that they were doing it. I'm not exactly sure what I did to warrant this generosity, but if their plan is to win my loyalty through bribery... well, it'll probably work :-)
