I lived right in the
heart of downtown
Atlanta during my yellow jacket years from 1991 through 1995. My
dorm, Perry,
was wedged in on the easternmost part of campus, right next to
I-75/I-85 (see campus
map). And when I say right next to, I mean it! The building was so
close to the highway that I could see the scowls of the unenthused
motorists caught in the daily commuter gridlock.In the years before coming to Tech, I lived in in Stone Mountain, located 15-odd miles northeast of Atlanta.
