What's with this ``Girl's Guide to Chaos'' business?

If the truth be known, I didn't think up this wonderful ode to alliteration by myself. Actually, I didn't have anything to do with it at all. Rather, I lifted the idea during my studies abroad at Oxford University during the summer of '94.

I vividly recall the square white stickers that adorned even the oddest of nooks and crannies belonging to Sainsbury, my dormitory at Worcester College on the outer edge of Oxford. The stickers, one of which gazed eerily at me each time I went to the loo, said simply, ``A Girl's Guide to Chaos. Worcester College. Week 4.''

I never did find out what it meant. The phrase stuck with me, though, and now it is the title for my collection of balderdash and poppycock.
