I have my parents to thank (blame) for the travel bug. Although I was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada (on Groundhog Day), my parents whisked me off to Singapore at age three. I had a great time there for four years (no, I didn't get any canings. Of course, I didn't spray paint any cars, either...) before returning stateside to live in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Connecticut turned out to be just a pitstop; within two years we were on the move once again, this time for a trip south of the Mason Dixon line into the deep south. I've been here ever since.
